ECHOFrom the very first day we brought Echo home we knew that she was unique. I can only describe it as a certain aura of calmness that surrounds her and touches every human and animal that meets her.

Her kennel club name is 'Tresco Silver Florrin'. She was bought for me along with her brother, 'Anubis', as a very special 40th birthday present. They also share my birthday!

Phyllis and Echo's breeder, Chris Thatcher, guided me through the 'whelping process'.

Echo's first litter were born on 19th December 2006. All eight puppies went to superb homes. We kept a daughter 'Solo'.

The second litter of six puppies were born on 3rd May 2008 and went their new homes at the end of June.

EchoA litter of six kittens arrived with a delivery of hay intended for a horse. Following consultation with a vet, we decided to introduce the feline orphans to Echo and her puppies. True to form, she loved and nurtured them as if they were her own. The puppies and kittens 'huddled' together; a beautiful combination of black and gold.

So many people wanted a part of Echo in their lives that it encouraged me to take a litter from her. I was put in touch with a fantastic lady, Phyllis Southwell, who was the owner of Echo's beau! He is called Denerose Conquest and again when I met him I was struck by his fabulous temperament.

We also take golden retrievers for their own special holdays if they can't accompany their families. All goldies live in the house alongside my own dogs
